GRASP: Advancing Energy-Efficient Solutions for RF Sensing and Communication.

September 1-4 • Istanbul, Türkiye

Workshop at IEEE PIMRC 2025 in Istanbul, Türkiye

ABOUT

This workshop will explore the transformative potential of AI in reshaping RF sensing, communication, and energy-efficient systems for next-generation wireless networks. By focusing on the integration of AI with advanced RF technologies, the workshop aims to address key challenges such as optimizing sensing processes, reducing energy consumption, and enabling seamless communication in dynamic and/or resource-constrained environments. On-device intelligence will be an important topic, showcasing how lightweight AI models enable real-time data processing and decision-making directly on resource-constrained devices, drastically reducing latency and energy consumption. Wi-Fi sensing will also be highlighted, with AI augmenting its potential for applications such as activity recognition, localization, and environmental monitoring. Additionally, this workshop will emphasize joint sensing and communication frameworks that unify these processes for resource efficiency and scalability, supported by edge computing and AI-driven orchestration.
